Hardcore Station v1 #1, 1998 - A way-station for space travelers, Hardcore Station is kept in order by the lawman Chief Justice Max. Suspicions arise when a spaceship called Enigma docks in one of its ports. Jim Starlin's story in not unlike his other space sagas. Like before, his artwork is clean and concise. Joe Rubinstein's inks are complemtary, adding definition as needed. Starlin uses a pair of double-page spreads to slow the pacing. This is 1 of 6 Hardcore Station issues by Starlin. /// key 1st issue
