Shazam v1 #25, 1976 - Mighty Isis appears in comics for the first time, guest starring in the original Captain Marvel's ongoing series. An ancient gold amulet turns ordinary schoolteacher Andrea Thomas into an Egyptian-themed superhero. Although she made her television debut a year earlier, this crossover is similar to the Saturday morning tv shows Isis and Shazam. Her own series debuts later in the same year.
