Joker #1 |
Joker v1 #1, 1975 - Two-Face breaks out of Arkham Asylum, leaving the Joker still behind bars. Humiliated, the clown prince of crime seeks revenge on his fellow criminal. Notably, this is the first DC super-villain to have his own self-titled ongoing series, which ran for ten issues. This first issue was written by Denny O' Neil and drawn by Irv Novick and Dick Giordano (using some swipes from Neal Adams' Batman #251). Cover by Giordano. /// key 1st issue
