Worlds Unknown v1 #1, 1973 - Marvel begins this bronze age science fiction series with a mix of adaptations and new material. This first issue specifically adapts a Frederik Pohl tale for comics for the first time. Scripted by Gerry Conway, the story's darker tone nicely matches Ralph Reese's artistic style (see interior page below). Other artists in this issue includes Gil Kane, Mike Esposito and Angelo Torres. Cover by John Romita.
