X-men v1 #107, 1977 - Attempting to rescue Princess Lilandra, the new X-men are transported to her home planet via Phoenix's stargate. Opposing them are her mad brother's royal Imperial Guard: Electron, Fang, Gladiator, Hobgoblin, Impulse, Mentor, Midget, Nightside, Oracle, Smasher, Starbolt, Astra, Tempest and Titan (Note that many of the characters look vaguely similar to DC's Legion of Super-heroes). Just as the X-men begin faltering, another group of space-borne heroes enters to turn the tide. Corsair, Raza, Hepzibah and Ch'od make their first appearance as the Starjammers.
