All-American Men of War v1 #82, 1960 - Growing up on an indian reservation, Lt. Johnny Cloud finally earns his wings and becomes a fighter pilot in WWII. But prejudice exists even at the highest ranks, forcing him to work harder to gain respect. Only on a mission to take out Nazi bombers does he have a chance to prove his worth. One of DC's earliest Native American heroes makes first appearance in this inspiring tale. Written by Robert Kanigher and drawn by Irv Novick, this story was later reprinted in DC 100 Page Super Spectacular #DC-16. Other artists in this issue include Russ Heath. Cover by Novick /// key 1st appearance, 1st cover Johnny Cloud, 1st series
