Sun Girl v1 #1, 1948 - Armed with super strength, speed and a bracelet that emits light, the Sun Girl follows a gang of bank robbers to their lair. There she overpowers more fellow thugs, but the big boss is still at large. This series ran a mere three issues without ever revealing her origin, although the character did appear in other Timely superhero issues.
