Human Torch v1 #2 (#1), 1940 - Surviving a massive train wreck that took his parents' lives, a little boy finds himself impervious to fire. Joining the fire-eating act, he suddenly bursts into flame for the first time. The Human Torch arrives and teaches young Toro how to control his powers. This story was written and drawn by Carl Burgos. Continuing the numbering from Red Raven Comics #1, this is actually a first issue and the start of the Torch's first series since his debut.
