Rune v1 #0, 1994 - The activities of a demonic vampire are chronicled through different eras of history before settling in modern day San Francisco. With the help of Malibu Comics, Barry Smith and Chris Ulm introduce the immortal Rune with this first issue. The coloration throughout the story (partially by Smith) is a bit garish, but the drawings meet the artist's usual standards. Layouts and sequencing are well planned.
