Harlem Globetrotters v1 #1, 1972 - In the 1970s, the real life basketball troupe was popular enough to warrant their own Saturday morning cartoon. The Hanna-Barbera show featured real characters Meadowlark Lemon, Curly Neal and others traveling the world and solving disputes through basketball games. This first issue and subsequent issues were written by Don R. Christensen and drawn by Dan Spiegle. Cover by Spiegle.
