Amazing Spider-Man v1 #124, 1973 - Wearing a pendant with a mysterious pulsing stone, newly returned astronaut John Jameson suddenly changes into a werewolf. The creature soon attacks the offices of the Daily Bugle, where his father J. Jonah Jameson works. As the publisher cowers, Spider-man comes to the rescue (naturally). The story continues into the next issue, where Man-Wolf's origin is finally revealed. This Gerry Conway story was drawn by Gil Kane, John Romita and Tony Mortellaro.
