Amazing Spider-Man v1 #124, 1973 - Wearing a pendant with a mysterious pulsing stone, newly returned astronaut John Jameson suddenly changes into a werewolf. The Man-Wolf soon attacks the offices of the Daily Bugle, where his father J. Jonah Jameson works. As the publisher cowers, Spider-man comes to the rescue (naturally). The story continues next issue, where the monster's origin is finally revealed. This Gerry Conway story was drawn by Gil Kane, John Romita and Tony Mortellaro.
