Marvel Spotlight v1 #29 on Moon Knight, 1976 - In his fifth appearance and second solo comic, Moon Knight concludes his battle against the Conquer-Lord. Jack Kirby does a decent job with the cover, his only contribution to the series. Fighting on a giant chessboard, the two figures share equal prominence. There are a lot of elements in the layout, but Kirby still makes it seem manageable. I believe this is his one and only rendition of Moon Knight. Other artists in this issue include Don Perlin. This is 1 of 1 Marvel Spotlight issues by Kirby.
