Tales From the Crypt #25 - Wally Wood art

Tales From the Crypt #25
Tales From the Crypt v1 #25, 1951 - An old crone uses witchcraft to switch her body with a young married woman. Not quite convinced, her husband formulates a plan that would reverse the process. Wally Wood's distinctive style is recognizable throughout the story, but like many of his early EC works, lacks polish and craftsmanship. One scene does stand out (see panel six below) for its clever visual technique. Wood uses a worm's eye view as an excuse to enlarge the husband's gun, making it all the more serious and menacing. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Kamen and Jack Davis. Cover by Al Feldstein. This is 3 of 5 Tales From the Crypt issues by Wood.
