Fantastic Four v1 #28, 1964 - Controlled by the Puppet Master, Professor X orders his students to attack the Fantastic Four without provocation. This battle is the first between the FF and the X-men. On both the cover and story art, Jack Kirby artfully brings together two teams of his own co-creation. As usual, the majority of panels are flush with action. Chic Stone does a decent job delineating a larger number of characters than usual. This is 28 of 116 Fantastic Four issues by Kirby.
