Tales of Suspense #71 - Jack Kirby / Wally Wood cover, Wood art

Jack Kirby / Wally Wood
Tales of Suspense v1 #71, 1965 - In a battle televised live around the world, Iron Man battles the Titanium Man in a clash of cultures. This is Wally Wood's only work on the series, inking Don Heck's pencils. His style is mostly evident on the female characters, but the overall enhancements are marginal at best. This story was later reprinted in >Iron Man special #1Jack Kirby and Wood create a less than satisfying cover. Other artists in this silver age issue include George Tuska. This is 69 of 92 Tales of Suspense issues by Kirby and 1 of 2 Tales of Suspense issues by Wood
