Real Life Comics #59 |
Real Life Comics v1 #59, 1952 - Seeing a child in the path of an oncoming train, a railroad worker jumps to the rescue at great peril to himself. This single page story is purposefully drawn by
Frank Frazetta. The artist shows the same scenes from various perspectives, enriching the reader's view. The final scene is unnecessarily previewed in the first panel, taking up precious space in the layout. Despite good intentions, Frazetta depicts the near-tragedy with minimal draftsmanship. Other artists in this golden age comic include George Tuska, John Celardo, John Severin and Bill Elder. This is 1 of 3
Real Life Comics issues by
Frazetta.
