1994 magazine v1 #18, 1981 - In the year 2129, a loner fearful of women orders a biological kit to create his own mate. Humorous and grotesque, Alex Nino's drawings live up to this perverse, adult-themed story. Faces and figures are wildly distorted, even disturbing at times. Nino's signature style is evident, but the printing fails to reproduce his finer lines, affecting the artwork's clarity. Other artists in this bronze age magazine include Rudy Nebres, Vic Catan, Delando Nino and Frank Thorne. Cover by H.R. Giger of Aliens movie fame.
