Richie Rich and Jackie Jokers v1 #1, 1973 - Despite what the cover suggests, Richie Rich and Jackie Jokers actually appear separately in their own stories. In this first issue's opener, Richie's dad tales up as a hobby after seeing others have done the same. With his son's encouragement, he decides to collect bottles but makes a spectacle of himself around town. Jackie's first tale takes him to the fictional (and highly unstable) country of Ipswig, where's he's invited to do a command performance.

Ah, I loved Richie Rich and Jackie Jokers! I remember reading this very issue when I was a little kid. It's great fun to see it getting some love again - thanks!
