Invaders Annual v1 #1, 1977 - Tasked with an important mission, the Human Torch, Sub-Mariner and Captain America head back to the US to separately confront the Shark, Agent Axis and the Hyena. Returning in Europe, they encounter the Black Panther, Vision and Yellowjacket in a retelling of Avengers #71, a prototype issue that preceded the official Invaders by six years. This first issue, written by Roy Thomas and drawn by Don Rico and Lee, also features cover and story art by the vaunted golden age artist Alex Schomburg.
