Happy Comics #23 |
Happy Comics v1 #23, 1947 - Two text illustrations are contributed by Frank Frazetta this issue. The stories feature a self-conscious earthworm and a friendship between a bird and cat. A third tale, "Beautiful But Not Dumb", has been attributed to the artist, but contains none of the nuance and draftsmanship of the others. While none of the stories bear his usual "ff" signature, his style is pretty evident. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Bradbury and Al Hubbard. This is 4 of 18 Happy Comics issues by Frazetta.
