Epic Illustrated #2 - Jim Starlin art

Epic Illustrated #2
Epic Illustrated v1 #2, 1980 - Continuing Jim Starlin's Metamorphosis Odyssesy, Lord Aknaton gains a new recruit to join his seemingly hopeless cause. Depicted in black and white at first, the story shifts into sepia tones, then full color by the chapter's end. Starlin's drawing methods have an ethereal quality that stands out from the rest of the issue. Other artists in this copper age science fiction magazine include P. Craig Russell, Howard Chaykin and Richard Corben. This is 2 of 13 Epic Illustrated issues by Starlin.
