Journey into Mystery v1 #103, 1963 - Disapproving of Thor's love for Jane Foster, Odin tasks Loki with asking the Enchantress to help. Failing to woo the god of thunder, she employs the Executioner to eliminate her female rival. In a separate tale, Thor convinces the Norse god Mirmir to fulfill a promise he once made. Jack Kirby illustrates both Stan Lee stories with skill and effort, trying to stay true to mythological roots. Both the interiors and the cover are faithfully finished by inker Chic Stone. - - - - - - - - - -
