Goofy Comics #21 |
Goofy Comics v1 #21, 1948 - Two separate text stories feature animal characters that are outsiders within their communities. Frank Frazetta draws both with equal skill and empathy. Of the two, "The Poor Little Woodpecker" stands out a bit more due to its wide panoramic illustration. While details are sparse, Frazetta portrays a crowd of angry birds with depth and perspective. Other artists in this golden age comic include Al Hubbard and Jack Bradbury. This is 2 of 16 Goofy Comics issues by Frazetta.
