Archer & Armstrong #2 - Barry Windsor Smith art, Walt Simonson cover

Walt Simonson
Archer & Armstrong v1 #2, 1992 - Still trapped in the Lost Land, Archer and Armstrong escape from Mothergod's prison purely by chance. The task of hunting them down falls to Turok Son of Stone. Barry Smith's art is adequate enough to keep the story interesting. Despite the strong page layouts, Bob Layton's inks fail to add much needed detail. Walt Simonson's cover is too busy and lacking in effort. This is 3 of 12 Archer & Armstrong issues by Smith and 1 of 1 Archer & Armstrong issues by Simonson.
