Avengers v1 #10, 1964 - A time-traveling threat named Immortus is the latest to challenge the Avengers. Jack Kirby manages to cram all the Avengers into a confined space, including the story's antagonist. Bordering on crowded, the artist's layout only suffices. The lack of a background seems to help overall, despite all the space taken up by the typography. Written by Stan Lee, this issue also includes artwork by Don Heck and Dick Ayers.- - - - - - - - - -
