Daredevil v1 #8, 1965 - Using a suit of advanced hydraulics, the Stilt Man commits crime with impunity until DD enters the fray. With opportunities to show size and scale, Wally Wood mostly misses the mark with his artwork. A lack of effort seems pervasive throughout the pages. The opening splash, depicting a near-fatal accident, is painfully devoid of detail. His cover is similarly flawed, reinforcing that argument that this is far from Wood's best work on the series. - - - - - - - - - -
