. A young Wally Wood handles the artistic chores early in his career. Though enthusiastic, the pages with often filled with crudely applied drawings. Glimpses of his talent appear in a few panels, but overall the artist struggles. On the other hand, Wood delivers a memorably arresting cover. Especially effective is how the female figure visually splits the two conflicting personalities. The artist also draws the brief horror tale accompanying the main feature. Both stories were later reprinted in
This Is Suspense #23. Compare this issue to Nestor Redondo's bronze age version in
