Berni Wrightson Treasury book, 1975 - Showcasing both published and unpublished art, this first-of-its-kind collection of Berni (now Bernie) Wrightson's work is both illuminating and enjoyable. Interestingly, the cover painting is a variation of the cover on
Web of Horror #3. "Feed It", a story from the same issue, is also reprinted here in its entirety. A prerequisite checklist and interview with the artist is included, flanked by sumptuous black and white art. Out of numerous full page illustrations, two would later be used as covers for
House of Mystery and
Berni Wrightson Master of the Macabre, respectively. This book effectively captures the artist's progression from promising talent to recognized master of illustration.
