One of the best, most relentless super fights in comics. All the more so, because it's basically a pointless diversion. I always got a morbid sense of satisfaction in watching Superman getting pounded flat. I would, routinely, reach for this one whenever I wanted to show my friends how a fight should be depicted in comics. Great review.
I agree. Jim Starlin fight scenes were among the best choreographed in comics, second only to Jack Kirby. Thanks for your comments.
