Superboy v1 #89, 1961 - Superboy saves a teenage boy from crash landing his one-man rocket on Earth. The hero initially assumes he's from Krypton due to similar super powers, but later has doubts. Mon-El suddenly recovers from his amnesia due to exposure to lead and remembers he's a native of Daxam. Unfortunately, the metal will also eventually kill him. Superboy quickly sends him to the Phantom Zone until he can find a cure. This Robert Bernstein story was drawn by George Papp. Cover by Curt Swan and Stan Kaye.
