Weird Suspense v1 #1, 1975 - During the middle ages, a witch and her tarantula cult prey on a helpless village in Europe. Count Lycosa fights back and leads a peasant attack on their hidden lair. Unfortunately, the dying witch puts a curse on him that passes down to his ancestors. Today's Count Lycosa turns into a human Tarantula that preys on evildoers. Written by Michael Fleisher and drawn by Pat Boyette, this hero is definitely the weirdest character in the Atlas-Seaboard universe. Cover by Dick Giordano.
