Mad v1 #8, 1953 - Holy Parody! Batman and Robin get the Mad treatment in devastating fashion. Their battles against the Floogle Gang, then later the Fleegle Gang, show their complete incompetence at crimefighting. Wally Wood draws the dynamic duo with utter disdain. The drawings themselves are exceptional, residing within sensible layouts without sacrificing humor. The sheer detail of Wood's work is astonishing.
