Men in Action v1 #1, 1952 - Hand-to-hand combat in close quarters occurs in the midst of a snowstorm during the Korean War. A US infantryman leads his outfit to battle, despite limited visibility. Tanks, artillery and even enemy forces are partially obscured. When the snow abates, the ground is littered with corpses. This first issue's opener captures the brutality of war through the eyes of one GI. Artists in this issue include Paul Reinman, Dave Berg, Sol Brodsky, Norman Steinberg and Mac L. Pakula. Cover by Carl Burgos.
