Strange Tales v1 #1, 1951 - Leading off this first issue, a Navy pilot is captured by men from Saturn who plan on conquering Earth. Can he escape in time to save the planet? Can he get anyone to believe him? This long running title begins with science fiction and horror tales, but eventually turns to the superhero genre (most notably introducing Doctor Strange). Artists in this issue include Paul Reinman, Manny Stallman and George Tuska. Cover by Carl Burgos.
