Scary Tales v1 #1, 1975 - Adding to Charton's collection of horror titles, Scary Tales begins with Countess Von Bludd as the series host. Although she debuted concurrently in Monster Hunters #1, this issue is also regarded as her first appearance. She appears prominently on the cover, introduction and the final pages which reveal her origin (written by Joe Gill and drawn by Demetrio Sanchez Gomez). Joe Staton and Sanho Kim both contirbute interior stories. Cover by Staton.
