Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #19
Deadly Hands of Kung Fu v1 #19, 1975 - Although no Shang-Chi story resides in this issue, Jim Starlin provides a single page illustration of the hero. Flanked by his villainous father, various characters and Asian symbols, the page is artfully designed. The Sons of the Tiger painfully disband in the backup story. They discard their mystical amulets, only to have Hector Ayala stumble upon them. He's instantly transformed into the White Tiger, Marvel's first Hispanic superhero. This Bill Mantlo story was drawn by George Pérez and Jack Abel. Cover by Bob Larkin.
