Strange Adventures v1 #1, 1950 - With this first issue, DC introduces a science fiction series that eventually lasted two decades. In addition to fantasy and sci-fi tales, a short adaptation of the film Destination Moon finishes off the book. The cover is hand colored from an original movie still. Various content was written by Gardner Fox, Julius Schwartz and others. Artists in this issue include Howard Sherman, Win Mortimer, Paul Norris, Bernard Sachs, Jim Mooney, Sy Barry, Curt Swan and John Fischetti.
