Petticoat Junction v1 #1, 1964 - An out-of-the-way railroad stop, the Shady Rest Hotel was run by widower Kate Bradley (played by Bea Benaderet) with the help of her Uncle Joe. The establishment was more popular that most due to Kate's three pretty (and available) daughters. This CBS television comedy began in 1963. The interiors to this first issue were drawn by Henry Scarpelli.
