Forbidden Worlds v1 #125, 1965 - Surviving to the present day, the immortal son of the sorcerer Cagliostro joins the US army under an assumed name. Stationed in Asia, he dons a new costume and revives his magical powers to fight against the Communist Chinese. Magicman begins as the main feature in this long running American Comics Group series. This Zev Zimmer story was drawn by Kurt Schaffenberger (ghosting as Pete Constanza). Other artists in this issue includes Ogden Whitney.
