Sugar and Spike v1 #1, 1956 - Sugar Plumm and Cecil "Spike" Wilson live in the same neighborhood along with their respective families. As toddlers, they communicate via "baby talk" which is incomprehensible to adults. In this first issue, they meet when their parents socialize for the first time. Naturally, the pair gets into all sorts of trouble despite their young age. This series, which ran for nearly a hundred issues, was written and drawn by Sheldon Mayer.
