Sad Sack Comics v1 #1, 1949 - Created, written and drawn by George Baker, Sad Sack was an everyman loser with perpetual bad luck. After years in the comic strips, he debuts in comic books for the first time. This first issue also introduces Little Dot, a girl whose birthday wish for a spotted puppy comes true. Her character's look would evolve, along with her growing obsession of dots. Little Dot was created by writer Alfred Harvey and artist Vic Herman.
