Strange Westerns #1 - Marshall Rogers art & cover, Jack Kirby reprints + 1st issue

Marshall Rogers
Strange Westerns v1 #1, 2006 - Coming all the way from Texas, Dr. Morris Masters drops in on his New York City relatives. As the Black Rider, he hunts down a forced prostitution ring. Marshall Rogers' cover is a tad busy for my tastes, but his interiors are nicely composed and well paced. Al Vey's inks do justice to the artist's pencils. This one-shot also contains two silver age Jack Kirby tales, specifically from Rawhide Kid #25 and #26. Other artists in this issue include Rafa Garres. This is 1 of 1 Strange Westerns issues by Rogers. /// key 1st issue
