Strange Suspense Stories v3 #37, 1958 - Temporarily living in Egypt, an American screenwriter is beset with bad luck when he purchases an ancient music box. Slightly varied layouts make the story more interesting, including the inset on the title page. Steve Ditko's linework and cross hatching further enhance the pages. In the interior page below, musical notes break out of the frames to suggest volume and continuity. Ditko's cover is nearly identical to the opening panel. Other artists in this golden age horror comic include Bill Molno, Sal Trapani and Vince Alascia.
