Flintstones v1 #42, 1975 - His second of two Flintstones issues, John Byrne provides the  illustrations to a Christmas-themed text story. It's completely unrelated to the tv show and features none of the characters. Byrne's drawings are ample in size, somewhat uncommon in this genre. Though one of his earliest works, what "Captain Salty's First Christmas" lacks in craftsmanship is partially offset by good and earnest effort.
