The World Around Us #36 / Fight for Life - Jack Kirby art

The World Around Us #36
The World Around Us v1 #36 / Fight for Life, 1961 - Among the last issues of this educational series, this edition teaches the use of medicine throughout the ages. Five brief segments are illustrated by Jack Kirby, nearly one right after another. Like much of the book, his artwork is simplified and has minimal detail. The layouts also tend to be repetitive, bordering on monotonous. Of Kirby's five segments, "The War on Insects" has the most visual interest. Other artists in this issue include Norman Nodell, Jo Albistur and Tony Tallarico. This is 5 of 5 World Around Us issues by Kirby.
