Tales of Suspense v1 #1, 1963 - Caught trying to steal secrets from his employer Stark Industries, Professor Shapanka is summarily fired. He soon uses another one of his inventions, a device that generates extreme cold, to commit crimes as Jack Frost. He endangers both Stark's secretary Pepper Pots and chauffeur Happy Hogan, prompting Iron Man to act. This issue, written by Stan Lee and drawn by Don Heck, begins with a Jack Kirby cover. A fairly static layout, but it does show all the primary characters involved. Other artists in this issue include Larry Lieber and Matt Fox.
