Eternals #1 - Jack Kirby art & cover

Jack Kirby
Eternals v1 #1, 1976 - Led by a mysterious guide, an archeologist and his daughter discover an ancient aztec temple and proof of outer space visitors. Jack Kirby introduces two previously unknown humanoid species in this new creation, most likely influenced by the book Chariots of the Gods. The scale is larger and grander than some the artist's other bronze age works. His imaginative drawings include four full page splashes in sequence. This is number 1 of 19 Eternals issues with Kirby art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Kirby or Eternals issues. See also this blog's Jack Kirby checklist.
