Man of Steel #4 - John Byrne art & cover

John Byrne
Man of Steel v1 #4, 1986 - Lois Lane introduces Clark Kent to Lex Luthor, the richest and most influential man in Metropolis. John Byrne uses more detail than the previous issue, perhaps to reflect the luxury and ostentation of most of the settings. Key panels are enlarged to emphasize scale and importance (including the introduction of a more corporate and business-like Lex Luthor. The artwork overall is once again, splendid, accompanied by Byrne’s most dynamic cover of the series. This is number 4 of 6 Man of Steel issues with Byrne art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Byrne or Man of Steel issues. See also this blog's Byrne checklist.
