House of Secrets v1 #81, 1969 - After years of science-fiction / fantasy stories, the title reverts back into its original horror format. Neal Adams' electric cover begins a recurring theme of children put in creepy settings. The iron bars in the foreground also add a voyeuristic quality. Starting with this issue, Abel comes on board as the series host, drawn by Bill Draut. Though he made a cameo appearance in DC Special #4, this is his first full appearance. Other artists in this silver age comic include Jerry Grandenetti, George Roussos and Jack Sparling.
