Buster Bunny #1 - Frank Frazetta art

Buster Bunny v1 #1, 1949 - Frank Frazetta raises the level of "funny animal" comics to new heights. His illustrations greatly enhance the two text stories inside. Despite their small size, the artist's attention to details and general craftsmanship is impressive. Note the flowers and grass in the interior page shown below. Still, of the two stories, "Davey" holds more visual interest. Other artists in this issue include Kin Platt, Vince Fago and Ralph Wolfe. This is number 1 of 1 Buster Bunny issues with Frazetta art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Frazetta or Buster Bunny issues.
